What should we do when parcels arrive?
When your packages are delivered, we recommend that you inspect the packaging thoroughly and sign with reservations; this is your right .
If the packaging for the goods you purchased online is damaged, you have the right to sign with reservations . And you shouldn't be fooled by the courier, who may offer numerous excuses, including rushing to make other deliveries, not needing to sign with reservations, not authorizing a signature with reservations, and so on. This is simply a way to avoid liability and prevent you from exercising your right: signing with reservations protects your purchase and also allows you to seek compensation from the courier for any damage suffered by the purchased product/equipment.
Some couriers will tell you that even if you don't include a control reservation, the packages are insured. This isn't true; insurance companies only pay if the control reservation is included and the actual reason is given.
If in doubt, we recommend that you also read the labels on the packaging.
But what exactly does the Control Reserve mean?
The right of control is nothing more than the customer's ability to verify the integrity of the goods within 48 hours of receiving them and activate the insurance procedures that all couriers are required to have.
???CRUCIAL ATTENTION??? It is crucial to understand that the reservation cannot be formulated in general terms. The mere indication of "inspection reservation" is ineffective and meaningless. It is imperative to precisely specify the reason behind the reservation. For example, it is necessary to detail conditions such as "damaged packaging," "compromised pallet," "visibly damaged product," or " presence of courier tape ." These clarifications are essential to ensure that the reservation is valid and recognized. Please refer to the images below for concrete examples.
